not only the name and body style are reminiscent of a Bentley, but many other styling cues come from other cars as well, including:

and numerous design cues from Mercedes.

here, I refer to the burmester round speaker design and the layout of the seat controls

also the center console resembles the bottom portion of the c class

and the rear as well

not to mention all the ford-esque and jaguar-esque styling cues taken from the parent company.

well, I guess everything’s only as new as the harlem shake these days

Your observations are incorrect. Lincoln has been using many of the design features on the Continental for a very long time
